How do I set up my pet's information on the tag?
You need to scan the QR code printed on your new tag and follow the on-screen instructions to activate it:
- Create an account and then log in.
- Click on "Activate Tag" to link the new tag to your personal account.
- Enter the information and contact details of your pet. Make sure the information is complete and up to date.
- Securely attach the Pet Tag to your pet's collar.
Can I update the information on the tag in the future?
You can update the information as many times as you want.
How do I scan the QR code and what information is displayed?
Open your cell phone camera and point it at the QR code for a few seconds. If the option to scan the code is enabled, a link will be displayed that you must click to be directed to the destination page. If nothing happens, go to the "settings" option in your phone's camera and enable the "Scan QR codes" option. If you can't find this option, your phone may not have a built-in reader. In this case, you need to download a third-party application to scan QR codes.
Is it safe to store my pet's information online?
It is completely safe. Your information will be protected by an account that you can only access with your username and password.
Is the tag waterproof and weatherproof?
Our tags are made of materials resistant to water and weather, but they are subject to normal wear and tear like any product. To extend the life of your tag, we offer our silicone protectors "Fashion Tag Silencer" which you can find in the "Accessories" section of our store.
Can I customize the design of the tag?
We have a very varied collection of designs and colors available. We handle product lines so it is not possible to customize your own designs.
How long does it take to receive my tag after placing an order?
Orders placed before 2 pm will be dispatched the same day and will take between 24 and 48 hours to arrive at their destination, depending on the destination city.
Can I track my pet if it gets lost? Does the BeagleBuddy® QR tag work as a GPS system?
Our identification tags work through a QR code linked to a personalized web page that provides information about your pet every time the code is scanned, but they do not work as a GPS tracking system.
Does the tag work in any country or region?
Yes. Because all the information is stored in "the cloud," it is possible to access it from any country or region.
Do you offer any alert service if my pet is found?
When the QR code is scanned, a notification will automatically be sent to the email registered in the account, and if the person who scanned it authorizes sharing their location, you will also receive the exact location of where your pet is.
Is the information on the tag protected and private?
Yes. All your information is protected by law. You will find more information in our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
How can I clean and maintain the tag in good condition?
For greater durability, we recommend using the silicone protectors "Fashion Tag Silencer."
Is the Pet Tag compatible with other pet identification applications or systems?
Our Pet Tags with QR Code are connected to our platform and are not compatible with other applications.
